First Printing, printed in 1881 in London. Two volume complete set. Both volumes are a bit oversize measuring 10.75" x 8" wide. Volume I is 503 pages, Vol II is 684 pages. Bound in publisher's original brown binding with black and gold decorations. This set belonged to the Blackburn (England) Spiritual Church and was part of their private lending library. Bookplate of the Blackburn Spiritual Church Library on both front pastedowns. Blackburn Spiritual Society stamps on several pages in front and rear of both volumes. Spine labels with the number 664 (book number in Blackburn library) on both volumes. Bindings show general rubbing and bumping along the edges. Volume I has a small hole in the spine. Pages clean and bright. Bindings sound. Ships same or next business day very well protected in a box.
