March 1905 to July 1909, various issues, five volumes, First Editions/printings, string-bound softcover 4to, about 6 x 12 inches with one issue slightly wider (1909), unpaginated but approximately 80pp each, printed wrappers, color throughout. Vintage magazines devoted to portrait photography and illustration, largely by the magazine founder, William Burr McIntosh, in effort to promote his studio. Aristocrats, models, ships, military, natural history, and more. Lavish nouveau-style decorative wrappers, and often a pretty woman or a mustached man. Advertisements at the rear of the magazines, including Coca-Cola (6/1906). One present issue (11/1906) features an illustration of a New Mexican woman (after a Karl Moon photo) on the front, one of few issues of the imprint to show indigenous peoples on the covers. March 1905, June 1906, November 1906, July 1907, July 1909. Very Good overall, with light rubbing and foxing, moderate toning, a few short tears and creases, a few tiny stains, a few pages with moderate tears, all with natural wrapper yapping.
