Bound in black cloth with yellow lettering to spine, minimal shelfwear; front endpaper creased; rear pastedown and endpaper with some fox marks. Good clean text. The jacket is near complete (flaps intact), slightly chipped at top & tail of the spine, showing peripheral creasing & scuffing, and has a 2" closed tear along the upper hinge of the rear panel, now mylar-protected. Export edition, without price on the flap. A scarce first edition.
