Cassel and Co Ltd. 1886. 'The Complete Angler' by Isaac Walton. This little book is a first in this particular edition. A smart looking copy from 'Cassell's Nation Library' series. Edited by Professor Henry Morley. Number 5 in the series. Tan boards decorated with black illustration to front and with black titles. Gilt title to top of front cover. Covers are solid and in very good condition with slight dustiness. Advertisements to back cover. Solid, complete spine with clear titles. Contents: advertisement to rear of boards and to back endpapers. Some age-spotting to front and pack and to a few pages. Small stamp to rear of front boad looks like bookseller's stamp. Pages are clear of writing or marking. A lovely vintage copy. First published in 1653. A celebration of fishing. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.
