School prize binding with plate to front pastedown and emblem to front board, King Edward VI School. Bound by Relfe Brothers. Marbled text block edges, endpapers, and pastedowns. Black and white in-text and full page illustrations throughout. Heavy cracking to front hinge causing board to be loose. Cracking to rear hinge and to gutters on occasion, pages throughout remain firmly attached. Binder stamp to front endpaper. Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing throughout. Slightly more pronounced towards the start and end of the book. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Visible sunning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends.
