First edition. Oblong small quarto. 16pp. Illustrated from photographs. Stapled wrappers moderately soiled, cover with a small crease, very good. A pamphlet explaining the origins and goals of The Philadelphia Urban Coalition, inaugurated in February 1968 in reaction to inner-city riots in 1967. The final page prints the short poem "Slum Dreams" by Langston Hughes. The organization is still operating, now known as the Urban Affairs Coalition. We have been unable to locate another copy.
