Tide mark of rear board of volume II, front board of volume VIII. Volume IV joints starting, with boards a touch tender. Rear joint head of volume X and front joint head of XI starting, with board firmly held. Front hinge of volume I, V, VI strained, but firmly held. Front hinge of volume II strained and somewhat tender. Rear hinge of volume II strained but firmly held. Front blank of volume II detached and loosely inserted. First gathering of volume I - including title page and frontispiece - working loose, otherwise internally firmly bound.
