Pictorial tan cloth. Small octavo. 194pp plus 4pp ads. First edition, first issue with ads at end beginning with "By Anna Fuller". A collection of 245 satirical fables by the noted journalist, short-story writer, poet and Civil War veteran. A good copy with some spotting and soiling to the covers and some browning to the spine. The text is good with some browning to the front endsheets and some scattered foxing and spotting. There is some staining to the lower corner of some of the book's pages.
