[1786] [Price Three Shillings.] Paginates: v,[ 3], 89, [1] p. First Edition. Lacking the final advertising leaf. Bound in modern blue paper boards, book-label of J.O. Edwards, scattered foxing, a few very light marks. Offered here is the famous Bas Bleau, a cornerstone publication for any collection of 18th Century Blue-Stockings , an intellectual informal 18th Century woman's group. This poem would serve as the first account of the Bluestockings to be published from within the circle itself. The volume measures 27 x 21.8 x 1.3 cm. Each leaf measures 264 x 215 mm.
