In ink ?St. Nicolaus Visby? on front paste down. Lacks 7 plates, one in part one and 6 in part four. Wolfstieg 1875. Kloss 2042 (for the second German edition). Rare first German edition, with the extra added part four which contains commentaries by Rössler to the three first parts. A second edition was published in 1836. The French original, ?La maçonnerie considerée comme le résultat des religions égyptienne, juive et chrétienne?, was published in three parts in 1829. R. S. Acerrellos is a pseudonym for Karl A. Rössler.
