An original 1759 French and Indian War Newspaper with a Full-Page Map of the Siege of Quebec, Including Troop Dispositions, as well as a long and detailed report from British commanding General James Wolfe advising the government back in England on precautions in the case of a French Invasion. This November, 1759 issue of the Gentleman's Magazine shows both British and French placements as well as a key identifying each. The map measures 8 14" X 5" and is perfect for framing and display! The instructions from Wolfe were written in 1755 at the beginning of the war and encompass multiple pages, six columns in all.
