A couple of pages at rear uncut. corner tip folds to a few pages only at front, old tape repair between pages 250-251. To rear of title page stamps of Chatham House Library / The Royal Institute of International Affairs. & "Printed in Poland" to half title page. This seems to be a detailed history of the famous port with numerous photographs, As published just before WW2 when it was heavily bombed by the German, allied & Russian forces. So full of details of items now lost, stolen & building now destroyed. The text of this book is English and was printed in Warsaw. At time of listing i was unable to find another copy for sale. 16.5 x 21cm Approx.
