From the library of Ekensholms Manor in Södermanland with Sophia von Stockenströms library stamp with her initials on the fly leaf. RISM 990054921 (R1565). Text in Italian and German. First edition. A lithographed second edition was later published, also by Breitkopf und Härtel. Vincenzo Righini (1756-1812) was an Italian composer and worked as kapellmeister in Mainz and later on in Berlin, composer of 20 operas. ?Gerusalemme Liberata? was first performed in 1799 and again in 1803 in Berlin. Från Ekensholm herrgård och Sophie (Sofia) von Stockenström, gift Platen, (1801-87), som var mycket musikintresserad och hade en fin samling både tryckta och förmodligen egenhändigt kopierade musikalier, framförallt operor i klaverutdrag. Rossini verkar ha varit hennes favorit. Hon gifte sig 1833 med major Gustaf Reinhold von Platen på Garpenberg. Seller Inventory # 114030
