Goudy, expressing his pride for the Goudy name and his unspoken admiration for his father. Created to commemorate the thirty-fifth anniversary of The Village Press, which was founded and operated by Fredric W. Goudy and his wife, Bertha from 1903 until 1939 when it unfortunately burned down. "Produced as a keepsake for pilgrims to Deepdene July Twenty-third, Nineteen Hundred and Thirty-eight" (from the colophon). Seller Inventory # 543670
