Brown cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine, gilt motif and motto to front board, 544 pages. Map as frontispiece, others in run of text, as separate plates (black and white) and some folding, on india paper (bound in). Condition: Boards rubbed, worn and tired-looking. Age-tanning to prelims and end papers, bibliographical slip tipped in to half title, all folding maps in very good condition (although with no list of maps in the Contents pages it is impossible to be sure that all are present). Weight before packing 1.1 kg; extra postage will be needed for destinations outside the UK. Seller Inventory # 6610

Standard shipping terms:

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs quoted are for books weighing up to 2 Kg (4.48 lb) when packed. If your book order is heavier than this, I may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. NOTE that I charge the same shipping cost to all EU countries, but the ABE system makes this rather difficult to set up; if you are ordering from an EU country not on the shipping costs list and so are charged the general International postage rate, I will refund the difference when processing your order. TAX on orders from the EU: our recent departure from the EU has left muddle and confusion for sellers and customers alike. For items costing more than 22 Euros VAT will have to be paid by the customer on receipt of the order, and possibly a handling fee levied by your postal service.
