First edition. Edited by Donald Allen. Quarto. 160pp. Vellum backed decorative boards with woodcut by Robert LaVigne. Faint crease at the top corner of pages, modest rubbing along the bottom edge, near fine in a very good unprinted dust jacket with a couple short tears near the foot of the spine, and tiny nicks and tears at the edges. One of 250 copies. Publisher's prospectus for the book laid in. Olson was a postmodernist poet, a term he coined in a letter to his friend and fellow poet, Robert Creeley in 1951.
