Soundly bound copy in original graphic pictorial dust jacket with publisher's $3.95 issue price intact to unclipped front flap. Prior ownership penned to front endpage and dated 11/30/1958 in Smyrna, TN. Dust jacket moderately sunned at spine, rubbed and worn at edges with shallow chips from spine ends and a short closed tear top edge of the front panel. Top inch of the front panel toned. Light crimping and rubbing to the quarter cloth spine at ends. Contents clean and neat with no marks other than ownership at front. Solid dust jacketed copy of the 1st edition of this now uncommon fictional treatment reflecting the author's observations and experiences in the Civil Rights era South. VG/G+.
