Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. This 9.0 x 12.25 inch, 236 page hardcover book is the first and only edition of this title as compiled by Barbara Jostes, a grand-daughter of the books' focus - John Parrott. This handsome book was printed by Lawton and Alfred Kennedy whose fine press work still deserves acclaim, and this book was printed in a limited number and is a wonderful example of quality printing and binding. This copy is in near fine condition with only one defect to down-grade it from fine - - the upper front panel of the cover shows a distinct bump to the upper corner of the front cover. The other corners are sharp. The green cloth covers with gilt signature on front panel and titling on the spine all clean and bright and the text pages in strictly fine condition with only a touch of influence to the first few text pages of that corner bump. Beyond that this book is in beautiful condition with the reprinted documents and letters from John Parrott and complimented with maps, period pictures and lithographs, period fold-out documents and records, and a beautiful double-fold-out reprint of Parrott's -*Llano Seco Rancho- Butte Co. Cal*- area. 236 pages. Seller Inventory # 1505-1474
