First edition. Volume I of II. 24mo. 122, [2 ads] pp. Leather and marbled papercovered boards. Binding worn with loss at the crown; dampstaining, label residue, and a couple of inked notes (one modern) on the pastedowns; first four leaves with slight marginal loss at the bottom corner and foxing throughout; sound but good only. Purported tea-time conversations celebrating the history and accomplishments of missionary endeavors to the Cherokee. Sabin 12465. Not in Field or Wolf.
