Letting Go, Philip Roth, Andre Deutsch, 1962, First Edition, First Impression Roth's first full-length novel set in the 1950s. The book is divided into seven sections and the story deals with a very rich web of interesting relationships between people of various backgrounds. This is an ex-library book. In good condition, the binding is tight but with a slight lean, the boards quite clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There are marks to the front board, shelf wear to the top and bottom edges of the spine, loss to the top edge of the spine, crease marks to the spine and marks to the darkened back cover. The end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There are marks and a library sticker holder to the rear of the front board, a library stamp to the publishers page, pen marks to the rear of the back board, marks to the top edge and marks to the edge of the fore and bottom edges.
