Very good copy bound with the original (i.e. contemporary) green leather panels and gilt-blocked black leather spine label. Rebacked in modern aniline calf with raised bands. Panel edges and corners somewhat dulled and rubbed. Marbled endpapers. Some staining around the prelims. Varying degrees of staining and spots also evident around the plates. Light marginal tanning and dust-toning. Some plates have previous owners' signatures on the reverse. Remain particularly well-preserved overall.
