First Edition Secker & Warburg 1955. Unclipped dustjacket has some loss to the top and bottom of spine, which is also faded. There are a couple very tidy archival tape repairs to the inside of jacket, which is now in a neat removable protective wrapper. Boards a little faded to the spine corresponding to the areas of loss to jacket. Sharp corners with a little pushing to the bottom of spine, square, secure binding. Pages a little age toned but tidy. No inscriptions. Good book, fair jacket.
