These book are in good condition. There are no signatures, bookplates, or markings of any kind in any of the books. There is some rubbing to the spines. The gilt decoration to the front covers is still bright. There is some wear to the front hinge of The Fellowship of the Ring. The set comes with its original slipcase. The slipcase has some rubbing. The pages are clean and free of any foxing. A rare set of Tolkien's classic work.
