London 1904: Phoenix House, 1965 328 ppwith B&W line drawings in text and two maps. Translated and with an introduction by Benjamin Keen. One of the major contemporary accounts of the economic, political, and social impact of the Conquest of Aztec Mexico. Text is clean, tight and unmarked. Green cloth boards with gold-stamped Aztec figure on front and tile on spine are clean and bright, slightly bumped at corners, DJ (in mylar jacket) has not fared so well, is intact but as two long, closed tears. First English Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair.
