About this Item

Bound in illustrated paper-covered boards and secured with red and blue plastic spirals, the book is in very good plus condition. There is wear and rubbing to the top and bottom of the spine ends and to the corners. With six laterally movable framed illustrations, activated by blue cloth pulls. All are intact with their original cloth pulls. Three panels have tiny tears in their bottom left-hand corners. Otherwise, the book is clean, tight, and charming. First Edition with copyright of 1953, "No. 2940" and "Printed in the U.S.A." printed at the bottom of the copyright page.
