No other printing or publishing date given on the copyright page. Bern Keating served as communications officer aboard the USS Raby and USS Brinkley Bass. Bern Keating, author tells the only complete, historically accurate account of the United States PT boats in World War II. It accounts for all the major campaigns in which PT boarts played a prominent and occasionally even decisive roles. A scarce book of a unique story of Naval history. The interior pages have NO writing except for previous owners name on the fep. Remaining pages are clean and without tears or creases. All pages firmly attached - NO loose or lost pages. Binding firm. This is NOT an ex-lib NOR is it a remainder. Red-Orange cloth on covers are bright and clean. No fraying is evident anywhere. Black embossed title on cover and titling on spine is clean and unmarred. DJ has borne the wear of a 60+ year old book. DJ has edge wear along folds and edges. Small chips missing/ worn away along edges and spine. A few closed tears that have been taped over.DJ is NOT price clipped and now in a mylar jacket.
