London: Chapman and Hall, 1870. First edition. First state. 8vo. 190pp. Finely bound in Victorian half morocco with marbled boards and end papers. Raised bands on the spine compliment the gilt titling and decoration. This book matches all first edition first state error points listed in Smith (114-116). Condition: Light wear to the boards. Foxing and light staining present on some pages. Very good or better.
