About this Item
First edition. Author's first book. Fine in dust jacket, faded on the spine and with light wear to the spine ends. A very good story whereby Walter Drake, reconstructs the circumstances of the death of his friend, whose body he watched through the long night in the camp at Fitch's Pond. Was Julius Nettleton's death by drowning an accident or suicide? Bit by bit he reconstructs the story to learn what really happened and the hidden reason of why death intervened.
