This is a Near Fine Copy of this Book in very attractive contemporary blue half calf binding over marbled boards,with the top edge of the book gilt lined.There are neat attractive marbled endpapers.No previous names or inscriptions are present.Illustrated with engraved frontispiece and further charming engravings within the book (see pics) The binding is firm with NO hinge weakness,no turned corners to pages.Light spotting to frontispiece and to the title page.Internally the book's contents are clean and free from foxing.The polished calf has five raised bands to spine with title lettering and Author in the 2nd and 4th spine compartments,other compartments are are illustrated with gilt roundel designs.Great copy for the collector on this early treatise on Fox Hunting especially Hertfordshire and it's hounds etc.8vo Royal Octavo size (xii) b 327pp First Edition [1839].
