First edition, 16mo, pp. [2], 42; original drab paper-covered boards, printed paper label ("Original Poems, / in the / Moral, Heroic, Pathetic, / and other styles.") on upper cover; a bit of flaking to the spine, but otherwise, very good and sound. Early ownership signature of F. Searle on the title page. Small bookplate of J. O. Edwards. Of this ninth edition OCLC locates only 2 copies: Wisconsin and Leeds, plus 3 copies at the ever-suspicious British Library Reference Collection. First published in 1825 and reprinted at various places some 18 times by 1835.
