Written and Published by Edward Edwards in 1859 this is the First Edition of this very scarce book on the history of Parliamentary Elections in Shrewsbury from the year 1283 to 1859, published in the town by the author, bound in the original printed boards, just under 10 inches tall, 50 pages, with the text printed on one side only, at the rear is a nice folding advert for Nightingale?s Jewellery shop in High Street Shrewsbury, the book has been recased with new cloth spine and paper spine title label, the original boards foxed and marked with edge and corner wear, internally foxing to opening few pages, a few marks else contents in good general condition A GENERALLY GOOD EXAMPLE OF THIS VERY SCARCE WORK.
