Rare. Cover is frayed and chipped at corners with general wear and spine has old scotch tape reinforcing it. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is still holding although gutters cracked in multiple places. Frontispiece and one other plate detached and laid-in. Former owner's bookplate affixed to front end sheet and scribbled over. Pages are toned with light thumbing but overall in very good condition. Illustrated in b&w with 6 color plates including frontispiece. .
