Lund; Propexus, 1991. First edition. 50,5x32,5 cm. (43, 43 blanks) pp. Original printed lilac cloth. There are a few small white stains on the front board, otherwise fine. "These forty drawings, now shown for the first time, were made with coffee by James Brown during Easter of 1988 when he took part in an annual religious event: a procession which chronicles the last hours of Christ, realized by prisoners on the island of Procida near Naples." (from a gallery leaflet, not present here). Issued in 1400 copies. An edition limited to 100 copies containing an original gouache was also published. Seller Inventory # 34961

Die Passionsfolge mit vierzig Zeichnungen wurde mit Kaffee auf Papierbögen gemalt. Auf dem Titel vom Künstler handschriftlich in schwarzem Faserschreiber gewidmet, signiert und datiert "1991".
