This is a First Edition, First Impression in good condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards are clean apart from a white mark on the spine and a couple of small stains on the back cover. The gilt letting on the front board and the spine is bright. There is some shelf wear to the top and bottom edge of the spine. The back endpapers and pages are clean without marks, tears or inscriptions. The fore and bottom edge and the first free pages are foxed.
