Includes general overviews of the units that participated at Gettysburg and their contributions as well as numerous first person perspectives from Gettysburg veterans in the form memorial addresses. 1,080 pages total in the two volumes, illustrated. Both are in original bindings 1/4 leather, 3/4 marbled paper boards, gilt titles and decorations on spine. There is a 1" by 1" chip at the bottom of the spine on volume II, otherwise both books are in Very Good condition with moderate edgewear and pages tight and bright internally.
