Spencer, a biological anthropologist, makes an extensive study of the original documents and other evidence related to the infamous Piltdown forgery. As a result he's able to put together a new identity for the potential suspect. An excellently written book on a real life whodunnit. An excellent copy. Pages are bright, clean and tidy. No marks, creases or browning. Cloth boards are tight and clean. DJ is unclipped (US dollar price) and unmarked with no real noticeable wear, just some sunning to spine. All now covered in professional clear removable book cover. 272pp with index, B&W illustrations, and sources. Please see all photos thanks.
