Spine lightly sunned with the gilt title dulled, a couple of worn-through areas at the corners and spine ends, very good or better. Interior is fine. Alexander Lawrence Posey was born in McIntosh County, Oklahoma, in 1873. He was a leading member of the Creek Indian Nation. He also published poems under the name Chinnubbie Harjo.
