Uncommon first edition of this uncommmon hardcover format of the now classic study of presocratic philosophy. A lovely copy, being extremely sturdy and well bound. Former owner name written neatly on front free endpaper, otherwise no marks to the interior. Pages bright, clean, fresh. One teeny stain to outer page block of foredge and some very light dustspotting to the outer page block up top, but all negligible. Dustjacket is intact and mostly clean except for staining visible on front panel and spine panel and to a much lesser degree back panel. Altogether a very nice copy indeed of this uncommon edition.
