[viiii], 36 pages, 12mo, disbound but firmly sewn. First separate edition, taken from Neville's translation of Machiavelli first published in folio in 1675. Neville was himself a political theorist, and it seems more likely this letter is his rather than Machiavelli's and that this separate publication was prompted by the domestic upheavals in England at the end of the 1680's.
