Green cloth with red and black titles. Vol I contains (xxiv) +556pp. Vol II has (xiv) + 559 pp., (including index). Both have rubbing and wear to extremities and edges, foxing to eps, tissue-guard at front and page edges. Volume 1 has small slit to top of spine and small dent in front board, tear in tissue-guard, small strip cut out at top of title-page to remove owner's name. Volume II has a bit of cracking to front hinge. Both generally good internally.
