Wrappers slightly stained; else good or better. First edition of this early, comprehensive anthology on video art. This standard work was one of the last projects of the Raindance Corporation, which had previously published the journal ?Radical Software? The volume was published several years after the last issue of the journal. In addition to the paperback edition offered here, copies were also printed in a hardcover version with a dust jacket. The anthology primarily brings together contributions from seventy video artists, each of whom was given the opportunity to present their work on two pages. With contributions on Vito Acconci, Ant Farm, John Baldessari, Lynda Benglis, Terry Fox, Dan Graham, Nancy Holt, Rebecca Horn, Joan Jonas, Dennis Oppenheim, Nam June Paik, Richard Serra, Michael Snow, Bill Viola and others. The essays were written by, among others: David Antin, Douglas Davis, Peter Frank, Davidson Gigliotti, Frank Gillette, John Hanhardt, Wulf Herzogenrath, David Ross, Willoughby Sharp As of September 2025, KVK, OCLC find three copies worldwide, one of them in North America.
