Loosely laid in is publisher's pre-paid card for subscription to their Now and Then periodical. Dust wrapper is clipped and a little grubby with some loss and wear at the edges. Synge was a noted Irish mathematician and physicist Professor of theoretical physics at Trinity College, Dublin.
