Founded in January 2023, Fold the Corner specialise in rare, beautiful, and eclectic books and manuscripts 'Old and New'. Our scope of interest is wide, and we seek out the unusual, the unique, and the curious. We currently hold stock in such specialisms as early printing, contemporary fine bindings, Philosophy, Literature, Surrealism and Modern First Editions (from 1900 to the present day). We also work closely with the Canadian writer and illustrator Charles van Sandwyk, and carry a constant supply of his books, artworks and etchings, making us one of the few dealers in the UK to do so.

Shipping Terms
We aim to process your orders for shipping and collection within two working days. You will receive an email acknowledging your order, and another with your shipping and tracking details.
All our books are securely and carefully packaged in parcel paper and bubble wrap, and are placed either in a padded envelope, a protected cardboard book-wrap, or a well-cushioned cardboard box.
We have comprehensive insurance to cover the unlikely event of loss or damage in transit.
For shipping outside of the UK, customs charges and/or import taxes may be charged by your local customs authorities. These charges are separate from our shipping costs and are not set or administered by us. They are usually payable directly to the courier company or local border authority when the parcel enters the country and will be your responsibility. In many countries printed books have a reduced rate of VAT.
In the unlikely event of your parcel not arriving within the times specified below, please contact us and we will do our best to provide an update on its status.
Please note that if a book is especially large, heavy, fragile or valuable, we may contact you to arrange a quote for delivery. This service will be provided at cost.
