In grey and red pictorial dust-jacket with white text designed by Michael Kennard. Later newspaper article tucked-in. No inscriptions or price-clipping, light wear to crown; a near fine copy with the usual sunning to spine. A series of literary essays previously published in periodicals such as 'New Writing', 'Horizon' and 'The Tribune'. Subjects include Tolstoy, Gandhi and 'Gulliver's Travels'.
