First edition, first printing stated. Bound in publisher's paper boards decorated in blind over orange cloth spine lettered in gilt. Near Fine with paper clip indent and rust mark offsets at several leaves at front. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with slight edge wear. A fantastic copy of a book not normally seen in such nice condition. A collection of autobiographical essays on California in the sixties; the author's first nonfiction book.
