South by Java Head, Alistair Maclean, Collins, 1958, First Edition The third novel by the author. The story is based on his own personal experiences in the Royal Navy during World War II. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine quite bright. The toned end papers and pages are free from mark, tears and inscriptions. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in good condition with loss to the bottom corner of the front cover, a tear to the bottom edge of the front cover, nibbling and two small nicks to the top edge of the spine, nibbling and loss to the bottom edge of the spine, loss to the corners of the back cover, a tear to the top edge of the back cover and marks to the back cover. Will be dispatched wrapped carefully in bubblewrap and a cardboard box. Seller Inventory # 03278
