Condition Report Externally Spine good condition red text titles, blind stamped red lines to the top and bottom, sun faded on all three volumes, bruised top and tail. Joints good condition. Corners good condition gently bumped and worn. Boards good condition full cloth boards with blind stamped red bands across the top and bottom, each volume has a red stamped shield design to the centre of the upper boards, the rear boards are plain. Page edges good condition all tanned and foxed. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition intact in all three volumes, gutter strained to one or to places. Paste downs good condition plain, lightly tanned and foxed in all three volumes. End papers good condition plain, tanned and foxed in all three volumes, subsequent end papers also tanned and foxed. Pages good condition illustrations throughout the text in all three volumes, each volume has a fold out coloured map at the rear which are all intact and complete, pages are lightly tanned throughout.
