About this Item

Decorated, buff, limp-card wraps. Part 'Yapp' edges (slightly overhanging) , chipped/torn here and there. Covers are otherwise complete, sound and tight, but have a few marks and quite a bit of rubbing. Plain un-lettered spine. Internally NO former owners names. 13 pp glossy paper b/w pages of Adverts, etc, + 152 pp, + 2 page glossy paper adverts at the end. Full Colour G. E. Studdy 'BONZO' Frontispiece, PLUS unpaginated illustrations on glossy paper in black and white throughout, with some of the full page illustrations/cartoons in colour/duotone. Light foxing (light yellowy spotting) on the page fore-edges and on the non-glossy pages (cheaper paper). Contributions include articles/fiction by HIllaire BELLOC; Barry Pain, etc. 'The Curved Passage. A Ghost Story' by H. De Vere Stacpoole. GOLF - Reflections on 1925 by Robert Harris. 'A Trip up the Gambia River' by Sir David Wilson Barker. 'The Clipper Ships' by Boyd Cable. Badger-Digging by Gerald Quihampton. 'Motoring in India in a Ford Car' by Capt. P. R. J. Morgan. 'Cricket. A Review and Forecast' by H. D. G. Leveson-Gower, etc, etc. Illustrations / Cartoons by G. E Studdy; LOW; SMY; Hassell (b/w full page Golf) ; Lawson Wood; etc, etc. By some of the cartoons of people, a former owner has written names in ink (presumably of the people featured). 'Published in aid of Stock Exchange Charities'. Overall, apart from the light foxing as noted, this is a near VG copy. See Images ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall.
