The cover has green cloth. 201 pages; 12 stories. The first story is "The Lady, or the Tiger?" The last story is in the format of letter writing. Eight pages of ads. The top end of the text block has gilt; the other two ends have darkened. The ends of the spine strip are frayed, and the boards' corners are a little so. The half-title page is missing. The pages are tanned. About a dz. pages each have a stain, up to 3/8 in., on the text. About 2 dz. pages have stain or light water stain on a corner or a margin. Four page margins each have a closed tear, up to 3/4 in. Two page margins each have a chip caused by rough-cut opening. The endpapers' folds are split. Scans e-mailed upon request.
