The text is descriptive, and because food of greater or lesser ambitiousness is available in all of these taverns only passing mention is made of this; in the case of those taverns boasting separate restaurants, however, mention is made in the appropriate portion of the text. This book contains an interestingly descriptive text and with 28 watercolour paintings reproduced in full-colour and several more in black and white the publication becomes both a guidebook and a souvenir.
